Best stuff ever
I started using Tom's of Maine after having constant dry skin. I used the natural unscented version and it worked great. Although unscented always seems to have an odd scent to it. One day I needed another bar and Wally World was out of it. They did have the lemongrass version in stock so I thought I would try it out. The smell is subtle and good the lather is creamy and rich feeling. This soap has changed my winter skin from uncomfortable and itchy to smooth and happy. I have always had sensitive skin and used many different soaps including baby soap. None have even come close to making my skin this happy. It also seems to keep me smelling fresh and clean which makes everyone around me also happy. I highly recommend giving this a try if you are looking for an end to dry skin.

I love Cetaphil Cleansing Bar
I love Cetaphil. I use it every day many times a day. It doesn't dry my skin the way other cleansers and soaps do. I take Cetaphil with me when I travel. I wash my face with it as well as bathing with Cetaphil. My teen-age daughter washes her face with it too. It's the best! I wish that the company gave out coupons because I'm spending a small fortune on it.

Figures.......
Apparently now that I've discovered such a great smelling soap they're going to discontinue it. For those that really wish to continue seeing this soap sold by Old Spice (instead of discontinued) go to www.oldspice.com and contact them and let them know. Otherwise it appears that I shall be forced to become more feminized and use the "body wash". Yeah that's a sensitive man. Or perhaps more like a (in the words of Gov. Arnold of California) "girlie man aka Queer eye for the straight guy.

The Best Organic Soap
I remember growing up using this soap. It's very simple and doesn't dry you out. It's the best green soap around at a low cost. Smells great!

Nice lather - Very drying compared with cold process soap
I am a long-time user of cold process lye soap. I made my own for several years and then continued purchasing homemade soap once I stopped making my own.
My skin is sensitive and I had high hopes for this soap. Let me start by saying that it is truly fragrance free and has a wonderful lather and feel to it. But it is a milled soap and as such it dries my skin. I showered with it three times and my skin became so dry it was burning and itchy. I have switched back to my cold process soap.
Now that I have 12 bars I will use it as a hand soap in the bathroom and probably give some as a gift. If you are used to supermarket soap or other hard milled soap you will probably love this stuff. I *want* to be able to use it because I really do like the feel of it but will have to settle for using it as a hand soap and not a shower soap.

It's soap
It's soap. It cleans me pretty well. I don't get too dirty but whatever dirt I have on me is gone by the time I get out of the shower so I assume it's working.
Give it a try. I think this stuff is pretty good. Sure beats whale blubber.

On My Short List of Must-Haves
I originally received this product in a gift set about five years ago and immediately fell in love with the scent. It's a clean fresh and a little bit powdery scent that stays with you all day long.
It lathers nicely and unlike most bar soaps that make the claim but do not deliver Canus actually does not dry out your skin. I live in New England and ran out of this soap a few weeks ago and had to make do with a glycerin soap that was supposed to moisturize. My skin is now the dryest it's been in a very long time.
In these difficult economic times many of us are doing without some of the little luxuries. I've decided this soap is one I cannot do without.

Just so handy
How can you review soap? OK it isn't soap it is a moisturizing bar. But still it is Dove it rocks (especially in the dry winter months). But the real kicker for me is buying in quantity. We never run out. I have it in our Subscribe and Save which garners you another 15% off and always free shipping. Amazon has something going on with that Subscribe and Save!

Skin Soothing Soap Succeeds
I used to use this soap during the winter when the effects of heating and cold air made for tender easily chafed skin. But time and needs change and I now use this product year-round. This soap is gentle to the skin and does not leave much residue as those commercial dry-skin cleansers. This is the anti-bacterial version although there is a 'plain' version. It's expensive as soap goes but I have found that the six-pack by-subscription set up Amazon provides brings the per bar cost way below what you'll find on the pharmacy shelves.
There's little fragrance [unlike most commerical soaps] to irritate either the skin or the olfactory. Using a wash cloth it makes rich suds and it rinses clean. Beware placing it in on a soap holder in the direct stream of your shower. Because it is a super-fatted soap it will wash away before your eyes if you aren't careful about placement.

Lathers easily great scent gentle on the skin
The title pretty much says it all - this is very good soap! Amazon's prices (when it is on sale) are a bit lower than the prices in the warehouse clubs so it pays to stock up.
My only quibble is that since it lathers so easily a bar does not last as along as brands such as Ivory. But the pluses well outweigh that small negative.
